PRICES

• Prices are a set cost per team (regardless of how many players) and are dependent on what day and time you wish to book.
  • Friday nights, weekends and holidays are priced at our standard rate of £129 per team.
  • Weekday evenings (after 5pm) are priced at our off-peak rate of £99 per team.
  • Weekday daytimes (before 5pm) are priced at our super off-peak rate of £79 per team.

We sometimes run promotional discounts for teams of two people, please get in touch for more details.

GAME DURATION

• Each game lasts approximately 75 minutes. This includes a short introduction, up to 60 minutes inside the room and a de-brief after the game. We do, however, strongly recommend allowing for 90 minutes for the whole experience.

AVAILABILITY

• To check our availability, click ‘BOOK NOW’ on your desired game above. Note: Please make a note of which location you will be visiting as our two games are at different addresses.
• We are officially open Wednesday to Sunday for The Bewilder Box Initiative and Saturday to Tuesday for for Judgement D.A.V.E. – but not limited to. If you would like to make a booking for one of our games on a day that we are not open, please contact us via the contact page or email us at contact@bewilderbox.co.uk.

OUR GAMES

• We have two games currently open at two separate sites:The Bewilder Box Initiative is located at The Hobgoblin, 31 York Place, Brighton BN1 4GU.Judgement Dave is located at The Brunswick, 1 Holland Rd, Hove BN3 1JF. Please double check which game(s) you have booked and do not rely on Google maps or other services which may take you to the wrong place. Failure to arrive at the correct site may result in us not being able to accommodate your booking and no refund will be given.

• When booking multiple games, there are two options:
• Option A: Book several games (and therefore several time slots) at the same location: either The Bewilder Box Initiative at The Hobgoblin OR Judgement D.A.V.E. at the Brunswick. Please be aware these will happen one after another and not simultaneously.
• Option B: Book several games across both locations: The Bewilder Box Initiative at The Hobgoblin AND Judgement D.A.V.E. at the Brunswick These will happen simultaneously, but please be aware your group will need to go to different addresses and will not be playing together.

To book for a single team (2-7 people):

• Choose your game and click ‘BOOK NOW’.

Note: We frequently get enquiries about adding an extra person to a single team booking (to make 8). For 8 players or more you will need to book multiple slots (choose the PARTY/CORPORATE option for more information).

To book for more than one team (7+), you will need to book multiple games. Each game can accommodate a maximum of 7 players:

• Click ‘BOOK NOW’ below.

Whilst we welcome players under the age of 18, we do have an age policy in place; this is to ensure that all players can receive and enjoy the full Bewilder Box experience. Please see details of the policy below:

• Under 18s: The Hobgoblin’s license states that no-one under the age of 18 can be on their premises past 8:00pm. Please be sure to bring ID with you if your booking is for a later game slot and do not book any slots that will finish after 8pm if there is anyone within your group under this age.

• Any young people (below 18) must be accompanied by at least one adult during the game to provide supervision.

• Under 13s: The Bewilder Box Initiative contains a range of different puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty. For this reason we generally recommend Bewilder Box for players aged 13 and above.
